Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating a ProposalBolt account, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. ProposalBolt is operated by ProposalBolt Technologies Pvt. Ltd., incorporated in India. These terms are governed by the laws of India.
2. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old to use ProposalBolt. Each account is for a single workspace; team collaboration requires adding members via Settings → Team. You may not share, sell, or transfer your account.
3. Acceptable Use
You may use ProposalBolt only for lawful business purposes — creating and sending proposals to your clients. You may not use ProposalBolt to send spam, to impersonate others, to collect payments fraudulently, or to violate any applicable law. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.
4. E-Signatures and Legal Validity
E-signatures created via ProposalBolt are legally binding under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Indian Contract Act, 1872. ProposalBolt provides a complete audit trail (IP, timestamp, device, geolocation) for every signature. You are responsible for ensuring the identity of your signatories and the enforceability of your contracts.
5. Payments
Subscription fees are billed monthly or annually in advance. All fees are in INR unless otherwise stated. Payments are processed via Razorpay. Refunds are available within 7 days of a charge if you have not used the service during that period. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods. Client payments collected via Razorpay/Stripe are governed by those providers' terms.
6. Intellectual Property
You retain all rights to the content you create in ProposalBolt. You grant ProposalBolt a limited license to store and display your content to provide the service. ProposalBolt's brand, code, and product are proprietary to ProposalBolt Technologies Pvt. Ltd. and may not be copied or reverse-engineered.
7. Limitation of Liability
ProposalBolt is provided "as is." We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Our liability to you in any circumstance is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
8. Termination
You may cancel your account at any time from Settings → Billing. We may terminate or suspend your account for violations of these terms. On termination, your data is retained for 90 days and then permanently deleted, except for signature audit trails (7-year retention per legal requirements).
9. Changes to Terms
We will notify you by email at least 30 days before making material changes to these terms. Your continued use of ProposalBolt after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
